[ Majima has put on a very cute 90s boy outfit. Narrow-waisted with more volume at the shoulder. He takes his hair down and combs it over to one side with his fingers, considering. He's genuinely not sure if he's brave enough to go as himself. Goromi is the one who came on to this guy, after all. He's trying to get some of her energy into this look and he's not sure if he's doing it or not.

He should know better than to ask Izo but he comes into the front room and does it anyway, frowning distractedly to himself, ]

[ Izō is splayed out on the couch with a beer and a cigarette in one hand, his phone in the other. Majima's voice startles him out of his haze and he sits up properly. He looks him over and shrugs. There's nothing bad about it -- really, the look suits him. ]

Looks fine t' me -- hell, ya look great. [ Izō's opinion on clothing is generally not to be trusted, especially not after the fashion crimes he recently brought into the apartment. ] Where're ya goin'?

[ Because there has to be a reason. Majima doesn't get dressed up without a reason. ]

[it's one of her nights off, and she's been spending it working at the clinic, because of course she has. it's what Emily does, keeps herself moving continuously, especially after having to completely abandon the idea of the nightmare medication, to avoid the embarrassment that still wants to creep into her from it. but eventually she does have to leave, and she considers that she can take a long way back, walking a way with decent sights.

what is not a decent sight, however, is a crumpled and feathery form lying on a bench in a small public park. she knows that hair, that scarf, that body, and Emily quickly comes to him, trying to check that he's not injured. no one seems to be around who could have hurt him, so...]

[if he's unconscious, this becomes simple, but a bit more taxing. if he's not, then it begs the questions of why.]

[ Izō is sound asleep. There are some fresh scrapes and bruises on him because he'd be in a little scrap at the bar, but nothing major. Her voice cuts through the booze enough to rouse him.

He opens his eyes just enough to squint at Emily. ]

...'m fine here. Go home.

[ That way he doesn't have to be embarrassed that Emily found him like this.

[ He made it home, awkwardly strangling up his shoulder with his suit jacket to keep it from moving around too much along the way. It's not even too bloody, which tells him it didn't hit anything too important. He's not a complete moron, he'd have called Emily if it seemed like he needed it. It doesn't hurt enough to have hit into his shoulder joint either. He genuinely did a pretty good job of twisting out of the way. Two out of three bullets missed wholesale, and the third one just embedded into the meat of his arm at the shoulder. He'll take it and he will also be taking whatever bottle of whatever liquor they have in the apartment into the bathroom with him; this shit hurts. He slugs some back before he works on shrugging all the way out of the damage shirt, turning to look.

He peaks his head out the door when he hears Izo come in, ]

C'mere. Need yer help with this.

[ He could do it himself. It would be significantly easier for Izo to do it for him. ]

[ Izō raises an eyebrow. What did Majima do? Is there a body in there? Something worse? A thousand possibilities run through his mind, each worse than the last as he drops the bag of booze on the counter before hurrying into the bathroom. ]

Th' fuck happened?! [ It doesn't look too bad, at least. ] Why didn't ya go t' Em for this?

She tosses her purse aside carelessly, keys jingling, and comes directly to hang on Izo's shoulders. It takes a lot for her to get drunk, but it seems to have been well worth the effort. She kisses his cheek, smiling. ]

[ There's really only one thing she wants when she says that. ]

[ Izō perks up when he hears her keys, like a dog excited for their owner. That excitement deepens when she's suddenly draped on him.
